One variant of the Coppernic Access-ER handheld that is used for Access Control applications contains an integrated HID Omnikey 5127CK Mini RFID reader.
This module is a very capable and flexible reader designed to read a wide variety of ID cards including :

- HID Prox®
- iCLASS SE®
- MIFARE® Classic®
- MIFARE DESFire® EV1 and EV2
In many situations, this device should be configured to enable high performance card reading of the specific formats required. The video below gives an overview of the basic process to configure the reader. For large scale deployments, Coppernic can provide additional information on how to deploy the configuration file to multiple devices via Mobile Device Management software or other means.
