Coppernic is integrating (and certifying) all kinds of RFID technologies into its handheld terminals. Depending on the needs and available solutions, we may integrate a reader, an OEM coupler or a chipset from our major partners: Amesys, ASK, Caen, Elyctis, Gemalto, HID, Identec Solutions, Springcard, Tagsys, Wavetrend….

To do so, we are taking care of designing the hardware, the software and the antenna to deliver a complete solution to our customers.   

LF Technology (125KHz et 134.2KHz)

Targeted applications

The LF technology (ISO/IEC 18000-2 125 KHz and 134,2 KHz) is used for tracking and tracing products (125 KHz) and animals (134,2 KHz).

HF Technology (13,56 MHz, ISO 15693)

Targeted applications

HF ISO/IEC 15693 (13,56 MHz) technology is perfectly suited for tracking and tracing products, goods and assets containers, pallets, rolls, …)

The life time of the tag will be long (several years) and its choice will be very important as well as its conditioning/packaging which will have to be adapted to the environment.

Passive UHF Technology (868 MHz and 915 MHz)

Targeted applications

The EPC passive UHF technology Class 1 Gen 2 is used for tracking and tracing products and containers in logistics and retail applications.

Active UHF Technology (868 MHz and 915 MHz or 433MHz)

Targeted applications

Active UHF technology is dedicated to tracking and tracing of high value added and/or critical products. This type of technology can be combined with different kinds of sensors: temperature, shock and movement…

Performances

  • The addition of a battery to the tag allows reading ranges from 30 feet to 100 feet (10 to 30 meters) for mobile readers and of hundreds of feet (meters) for the fixed readers.
