The hand-held device MorphoCheck™, developed for and with Morpho (Safran Group) *, enables Police, Security Forces, Custom officers, border control and immigration officers to check the new generation ID documents anywhere in the territory, without any particular infrastructure. It’s capable to achieve one-to-many identification searches on a local database of up to 100,000 individuals.

A versatile terminal
Besides its optical sensor for instant fingerprint identification, the MorphoCheck™, accommodates a reader module that varies depending on the version: 2D barcode, contact and contactless chips, MRZ (Machine Readable Zone). It runs the Morpho (Safran Group) fingerprint encoding and matching algorithms, which are rated as the most effective on the market. The terminal is designed to comply with international standards, among which those defined by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for the European e-passport: Basic Access Control and Extended Access Control (BAC and EAC).
